Built by SAN Jodel in Bernay in 1957 as F-BIOU. Imported to the UK in 1979 and registration changed to G-BIOU.
The Jodel has a current permit until 2 AUG 2024 and is in very good condition.
It has a zero timed Continental C90, by Deltair, which cost £18000 and has only done 74 hours. Fitted with new magnetos, light weight starter and alternator.
A significant amount of work was done at Dunkeswell by a well know Jodel expert and inspector, between 2005 and 2008 which involved recovering of wings, fuselage and tailplane. Fitted with Cleveland disc brakes. It has a Transponder and a Trig TY 96 radio.
The Jodel is based at Dunkeswell.
