McMurdo Fastfind MaxG, Personal locator beacon PLB, bought 2013, never been used in an emergency, sitting around in a cupboard for most of those years.
Its the equipment you should consider when going on long distance flight over remote areas, where in the event of a forced landing the emmergency services will be able to find you rapidly as it gives out your position and that you are in distress. I bought for flying to Greece and back. No mad trips planned this year and could do with the cash at the moment.
