Serial number 2593. G-AFDO is the oldest flying Cub in the UK and operates on a Permit to Fly. Built 1938. Full ground up rebuild completed in 2010 by Ron Souch. All rebuild documents included. Total airframe hours 2500. Total engine hours 1260 and 132 since top end overhaul. Compressions 78/74/76/78. Only uses 17 litres per hour. Large wing tank. Cheap to fly and easy to maintain. Brilliant strip flying fun. The previous owner imported this aircraft into the UK during the 80’s and owned her for some 30+ years. This Cub wants for nothing. Beautiful condition and lovely to fly.
