Lycoming IO-360-L2A engine, Injected 180hp, removed serviceable from a Cessna 172S undergoing conversion to Diesel. Hollow crankshaft but Crankcase only suitable for fixed pitch prop without modification.
2317 hrs since last overhaul by Multiflight, May 2020
Roller Tappets, PID crankshaft, includes 2 magnetos, HT leads, 8 spark plugs, fuel servo and flow divider, VAC pump and Starter motor. Engine was inhibited internally before removal 20th February 2023. Full maintenance history available, both mags have over 470 hrs to next 500 hr check, ignition harness was new 40 hrs ago. Compression at last 100hr were 72/74/74/75 and have been consistent.
Engine inhibiting involved draining oil while hot, replacing with straight 80 mixed with 2XN, replacing filter and running again with Inhibiting oil mix in. Top spark plugs removed, hot 2XN mix sprayed in cylinders, dehydrator plugs fitted.
Ready to fit and run package,ideal for RV/Pitts or similar. £14,000 no VAT.
