PA28 Archer 181 3900

For sale my share in G-BVNS a PA-28 Piper Archer (181), with zero timed engine fitted in February 2023. Reason for sale is I am buying into a tailwheel aircraft.

The aircraft is hangared at Prestwick Airport at the flying club, with good road/train/coach links to Glasgow and rest of Scotland.

The fixed costs per year are £750, with the flying rate £135 per hour wet. Prestwick landing fee £13 (circuits £11) gives access to a 24/7 international airport with two runways, instrument approaches, with a friendly operating environment.

Bookings are made through the group's website, with fair rules and good availability. It is a well organised group with clear operating procedures and several instructors as members. To fly the aircraft you need to be a member of Prestwick Flying Club, an excellent club where there is a wealth of aviation knowledge and experience including first class instructors. The group is looking for current license holders with 100hrs P1 experience.

It is very well equipped aircraft with Garmin GNS430, 8.33 radios, 2 altimeters, 2 VORs, ILS, ADF, Mode S transponder, SkyEcho. Some members have also completed and fly their IR/R on the aircraft.
